The HOAX 2017 Tour begins in Barnsley.

In 2002, a Barnsley regeneration initiative called ‘Rethinking Barnsley’ engaged the community in an extensive and detailed consultation process to inform a new 25 year vision for the town.

Redevelopment of Barnsley Civic Theatre was identified as a priority from the consultation process, and the remodelled building and site re-opened to the public in 2009.

Since re-opening The Civic, Barnsley has secured NPO status from Arts Council England, developed a combined arts programme catering for a range of tastes and interests and supported a wealth of creative businesses and projects to develop and thrive.

I'm currently sat on a train somewhere between Stoke and Milton Keynes trying to hold back the tears whilst getting funny looks off strangers. Thank you once again for such a journey.
